DOA Policy

CJ_reefs guarantees that all corals should arrive alive. In the unlikely event of DOA, CJ_reefs must be contacted within 2 hours after receiving the package from the shipping company. Clear photos must be taken of the coral inn question within its bag/pot. These  MUST be unopened, and only opened if instructed to do so by ourselves. No credit/refund will be given if pictures have not been sent within 2 hours of the package signed for time given by the shipping company.

There are no refunds or returns on live purchases.

Verified DOA Pictures will receive a replacement if possible, a full refund excluding postage or a alternative coral of a similar value.

Every tank’s parameters vary, and unfortunately the life of the coral is out of our hands once it enters your aquarium, and no credit or refunds can be given for these losses. Please research your chosen coral before committing to buying to make sure your can meet the corals lighting, flow and feeding requirements.

 

*Please note that the delivery must be taken and signed for on the first attempt for the DOA to be valid.*

If corals are DOA due to shipping related issues that are not under the control of CJ_reefs or the Purchaser, they shall receive a replacement if possible or refund excluding postage. We ask that in the case of any delays or damages to the package, you are expected to take all steps possible to file a claim with the shipping company.
